It’s a new year, and while we would love to resolve to eating out less, life simply gets too busy! So here is a resolution you can keep instead: save money by eating out more with kids eat free restaurants!

So many of your favorites have an unadvertised free kids meal deal when you purchase an adult entree or dine in on a special day. We’ve rounded up what you need to know to save big!

NOTE – Make sure you call ahead before heading out to confirm the promotion and the days that these are valid on, as many restaurants will change their policies regularly, and most of the time these offers will vary by location.

LIMITED-TIME KIDS EAT FREE DEALS

Habit Burger & Grill – CharClub members get a free kids’ (10 and under) meal at Habit Burger & Grill with a purchase of $10 or more Monday – Thursday. The offer will drop into your My Offers wallet every Monday. Limit one free kids’ meal online, in-app, or in-store per week. MOD Pizza – Free Kids Meal with MOD-size pizza or salad purchase on Sundays. Code: KEF2026
Outback Steakhouse – Every Monday, kids can enjoy a free Joey meal when you purchase an adult entree and enter promo code JOEYFREE during online or in-app checkout. For dine-in orders, you must mention “Free Joey Meal” to your server.

DAILY KIDS MEAL DEALS

Bruster’s Real Ice Cream – Kids under 40 inches tall receive a free Baby Cone every day at participating locations.
Chick-fil-A – Offers vary by location. Many locations host Kids Eat Free nights or special promotions. Additionally, some locations offer a free ice cream cone or cup when an unopened kids’ meal toy is traded in.
Chili’s – My Chili’s Rewards members may receive free kids’ meal offers via email, text, or app rewards. Valid for children 12 and under with the purchase of a regular entrée.
Culver’s – Every kids’ meal includes a certificate for a free scoop of Fresh Frozen Custard and a Scoopie Token. Tokens can be collected and redeemed for prizes, free kids’ meals, or other rewards.
Denny’s – Kids eat free daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. with the purchase of an adult entrée. Participation and details may vary by location.
Fogo de Chão – Children six and under enjoy complimentary dining at Fogo, and ages seven to twelve dine at half-price for the Full Churrasco Experience.
Fricker’s – Kids 10 and under receive a free meal from the Lil’ Fricker’s menu with the purchase of an adult meal and kids’ beverage. Dine-in only at participating locations.
Fuddruckers – Some locations offer free or discounted kids’ meals with the purchase of an adult entrée. Participation varies.
Holiday Inn – Kids eat free when ordering from the kids’ menu at participating hotel restaurants. Children must be accompanied by a registered hotel guest who purchases a full-priced adult entrée. Up to two kids per adult may qualify, depending on location.
IHOP – Kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée, typically from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Participation and days vary by location.
The Melting Pot – Receive one free kids’ entrée (ages 12 and under) with the purchase of one adult 4-course meal. Reservations are required, and guests must mention the “Kids Eat Free” promotion when booking.

Do kids eat free offers work on holidays?

Depending on the holiday and the restaurant, you still might be able to use a free kid meal promo when you dine-in on a holiday. Talk with your local restaurant to be sure.

Can you combine kids eat free offers with other coupons?

Typically restaurants will not allow you to use a coupon with your adult meal if you are also getting a free kid’s meal. You can always ask your waiter/waitress, but this is definitely a ymmv type of situation.

Why do kids eat free deals vary by location?

Many restaurant chains are franchised, which means individual locations can decide whether to participate in promotions. This is especially true for Chick-Fil-A locations since the store owners set which freebies and deals they want to do and more locations are more generous than others.

Does Olive Garden have a kids eat free deal?

In the past, Olive Garden has offered free or discounted kid meals both nationwide and regionally. At this moment, there are no deals, but be sure to follow your local Olive Garden on social media so you don’t miss any location-specific offers.

Does Rainforest Cafe offer kids eat free specials?

Rainforest Cafe does offer a special day each month where kids eat for $0.99. Limit one $0.99 kid’s meal per adult purchase and not valid with other offers. The current one is scheduled to take place on March 4th, 2026 and will change each month.

Does Red Lobster have a kids eat free promo?
