Why We Love Social Media Giveaways

Social media giveaways are usually quick and easy to enter. In most cases, you simply follow the host account, like the giveaway post, and leave a comment or tag a friend.

Some giveaways also offer bonus entries for sharing the post to your story or sending it to a friend. Because many social giveaways only stay open for a few days, they may attract fewer entries than large national sweepstakes.

Brands often hold these giveaways to introduce their products to new people, grow their social following, and create excitement around a launch or promotion.
