Veteran’s Day 2024 – Free Meals for Veterans

When is Veteran’s Day?

Veteran’s Day is always November 11th. It’s a day we honor all service members, and so many stores and restaurants celebrate with special offers for military members and their families.

We have compiled a huge list of those offers below. Keep in mind that these offers can vary from location to location, so be sure to call ahead before you head out! Take a look at the big list of restaurants nationwide that are showing their appreciation by offering complimentary or discounted meals and beverages to veterans and active-duty military personnel in 2024. Most all are exclusively available on November 11th and you may need to present a valid military ID.

• Applebee’s – Veterans, active-duty military, reserves, and the National Guard can enjoy a free meal of their choice from a select menu at Applebee’s on Veterans Day.
• Aquarium of the Pacific – Veterans and active military members can get free admission (with valid ID) to the Aquarium of the Pacific on Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Advance reservations required.
• Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar – Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is honoring veterans and active military with a free 5-ounce BD’s All American Burger with cheese and a choice of side from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Veterans Day.
• Bar Louie – Bar Louie will give veterans a free burger from Nov. 10 – 11. Offer valid in-store only.
• BD’s Mongolian Grill – 50 percent off bowls for veterans with military proof.
• Biggby Coffee – Veterans and active-duty service members receive a free 16oz latte hot/iced/frozen with military ID on November 11.
• Big Lots – From November 8 to November 11, Big Lots will offer veterans and active military members an additional 20% off in-store purchases.
• Biscuit Belly – Veterans eat free on November 11 with choice of Bacon Egg & Cheese, Sausage Egg & Cheese, or Chicken Biscuit Sandwich and a hot drip coffee or fountain drink. All locations are participating, dine in only. Open from 7:30am – 2:00pm.
• BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse – On November 11, veterans can dine in and enjoy a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with no minimum food purchase. In addition, veterans will receive a bounce back coupon for a free appetizer. Valid between November 12 and December 31, 2024, the bounce back can be used for dine in or take out.
• Bob Evans – Free entree for veterans on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2024. Other items will be discounted 20% for veterans. Hours are 11AM to 2AM daily for lunch, dinner, and late night.Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from a select menu on November 11. Dine-in only.
• Bombshells – Families accompanying veterans, and active service members and their accompanying families, will receive a 20% discount on entrees and other items on Veterans Day. The Veterans Day free offer and discount excludes alcoholic beverages and are not eligible for rain checks, gift cards, or take-out.
• Bonefish Grill – Active-duty service members and veterans get a complimentary order of Bang Bang Shrimp with a soft beverage on November 11 with valid ID.
• Bruegger’s Bagels – Veterans and active-duty military get a free hot or iced coffee (any size) with a purchase in-store on November 11.
• Buffalo Wild Wings – 10 free boneless wings and fries to veterans and active-duty service members with valid ID. Available for dine-in or, if ordering from a Buffalo Wild Wings GO location, available for walk-in/orders placed at the counter only.
• Busch Gardens and SeaWorld – Veterans and active-duty military can purchase an annual pass for unlimited admission, free parking, single-day admission (for military member), discounted admission for military family members, and no blackout dates.
• California Pizza Kitchen – Veterans and active-duty military members get a complimentary meal from a select menu on November 11. They will also receive a BOGO offer to redeem for a pizza, pasta or salad that can be redeemed for a future visit between November 12 through November 25, 2024.
• Carolina Ale House – Veterans and military members get a free half rack rib platter on November 11. Only valid at NC, FL, and TN locations. In-store only.
• Carrabba’s – From November 8 through 10, order an entrée when you dine-in and take home another entrée of equal or lesser value for free. Then on November 11, order a complimentary dine-in appetizer or dessert paired with a free nonalcoholic beverage. Veterans and active-duty military are asked to show a service ID.
• Casey’s General Stores – On November 11, past and present service members get a free, any size coffee or fountain drink.
• Chicken Salad Chick – Free meal to all veterans and active-duty military this Veterans Day, Nov. 11. Servicemembers in uniform and/or those who present a valid military ID at the register will receive a complimentary Chick Meal + drink (meal includes either a scoop or a sandwich, plus one fresh side, and a regular fountain drink). This offer is valid at all Chicken Salad Chick locations on Nov. 11, 2024.
• Chili’s – Veterans and active-duty military members get a free meal on Veterans Day November 11, 2024 at all participating Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurants. Available in-restaurant only for select items. Military ID required to redeem offer.
• Cousin Subs – Offering all veterans and active-duty military a free 7 ½” sub at any Cousins Subs location on Monday, Nov. 11. The free sub offer is redeemable for in-person orders only on Veterans Day. Proof of service is required, which may include a U.S. Uniform Services ID, U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, a photograph in uniform or wearing uniform, DD214 form, or Citation/Commendation.
• Dave & Buster’s – Veterans get a free entree (up to $20) and a free $10 Power Card with a valid veterans ID card on November 11.
• Denny‘s – Veterans and active-duty military personnel receive a free Original Grand Slam on November 11 from 5am to 12pm. Must show valid Military ID or DD214.
• Dickey’s Barbecue Pit – Veterans and active-duty military get a free Pulled Pork Sandwich on November 11. Valid in-store, and online/app for carryout.
• Duck Donuts – Free medium hot coffee or cold brew on Veterans Day. The free coffee offer is available at any Duck Donuts location on Monday, Nov. 11, to service members with valid military ID or Veteran ID Card (VIC), no purchase necessary, in-shop only.
• Duffy’s Sports Grill – Veterans get a free meal on November 11 from 11am to 4pm. Dine-in only with ID. Limit of one free meal per veteran, maximum value $15.
• Dunkin’ – Active and retired military get a free donut on November 11. Limit one per guest while supplies last. Offer available in-store only. Not available for orders placed using On-the-Go Mobile Ordering through the Dunkin’ Mobile App.
• Eddie Merlot’s – On Monday, Nov. 11, Eddie Merlot’s is offering all veterans and active military a FREE Eddie’s Prime Cheeseburger with fries.
• Einstein Bros. Bagels – Veterans and active-duty military get a free hot or iced coffee (any size) with a purchase in-store on November 11.
• Eureka! – Veterans get a complimentary Burger (any burger) on November 11.
• Farmer Boys – On November 11, veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free Big Cheese burger at participating locations. The offer is valid for dine-in only with proof of service and is limited to one per service member.
• Firehouse Subs – On November 11, veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free combo at participating locations. The offer is valid for dine-in only with proof of service and is limited to one per service member.
• Flat Top Grill – 50 percent off bowls for veterans with military proof.
• Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers – Veterans and active-duty military personnel who visit participating locations on November 11 will receive a meal card valid for a free combo meal of their choice. Cards may be redeemed through December 31, 2024.
• Friendly’s – Veterans can enjoy a free cheeseburger and drink at Friendly’s on Veterans Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Genghis Grill – 50 percent off bowls for veterans with military proof.
• Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard – Good Times is honoring all veterans and active-duty military with a free Deluxe Cheeseburger Combo on Veterans Day from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. for dine-in only.
• Gold Star Chili – On November 11, veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary meal of their choice (up to $12 off their order with proof of service). For dine-in, carry out or drive-thru.
• Golden Corral – Golden Corral is hosting their Military Appreciation Night on November 11 from 4pm to close. This includes a free “thank you” meal when dining in.
• Grace for Vets – Grace for Vets will offer a free car wash when you visit one of their partners on Veterans Day.
• Great Clips – Great Clips is offering free haircuts to veterans and current military members on Nov. 11, 2024. Nonmilitary customers who purchase a service on Veterans Day get a free haircut card to give to a veteran they know. Limit one card per customer.
• Hacienda Mexican Restaurant – Veterans and active-duty military receive a free Large Wet Burrito when they dine-in OR carryout on November 11.
• Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream – On Nov. 11, 2024, veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a FREE lunch smorgasbord and a drink, or a free two-topping pizza.
• Hof’s Hut – Veterans get a free Hofburger + 1 side or Pancakes Combo, with one $10 bonus card for each veteran on November 11.
• Hooters – On Veterans Day, November 11, 2024, all retired and active-duty military who present proof of service or a military ID, with purchase of a beverage, may order one free meal from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu. This offer is valid to for dine-in only at participating Hooters locations.
• Hopdoddy Burger Bar – Veterans and active-duty military get a free classic burger on November 11. Available for dine-in only.
• Hoss’s Steak and Sea House – Veterans and active-duty military receive free soup, salad, bread, nacho, and dessert bar and iced tea on November 11. Dine-in only. No other discounts apply. In addition, veterans will receive a $10 off $40 voucher to be used on a future visit in the month of November. Must show proof of military service to be eligible.
• Hot Chicken Takeover – 50 percent off any sandwich, combo, or entrée with military proof (in-store only).
• IHOP – Veterans and active-duty military get a free Red, White, and Blueberry Pancake Combo on November 11 from 7am to 7pm. Dine-in only, at participating restaurants.
• In-N-Out Burger – On November 11, veterans, active-duty military, reserves and National Guard receive a complimentary meal, including any burger, fries, and beverage on In-N-Out Burger’s menu. Present proof of military service.
• Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant – Veterans and active-duty service members with proof of service who dine in on November 11 get a complimentary burger or sandwich along with a non-alcoholic beverage.
• Island Fin Poké Co. – Free, delicious poké bowl to veterans at all Island Fin locations
• Kolache Factory – On Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Kolache Factory invites all veterans and active military personnel to enjoy a free breakfast at any of their locations nationwide. To claim your offer, simply present a government-issued military photo ID or DD 214, and you’ll receive one complimentary kolache of your choice along with a cup of freshly brewed Katz coffee (any size). Please note that this offer excludes croissants, Polish varieties, and espresso drinks.
• Krispy Kreme – Krispy Kreme is offering veterans and active military members a free doughnut of choice and a small coffee, hot or iced, no purchase necessary.
• Krystal – On Veterans Day, Krystal is offering veterans a FREE breakfast sandwich from opening until 11 a.m.
• Lion’s Choice – Lion’s Choice offers a free original roast beef sandwich for active-duty and retired military members on November 11. Guests can request their free sandwich at check-out by stating they are a veteran or showing a valid ID.
• Little Caesars – On Monday, November 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., veterans and active military can enjoy a complimentary Lunch Combo, which includes four slices of Little Caesars signature Detroit-style Deep Dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi beverage. No coupon is required to claim the free HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo on Veterans Day. Veterans and active-duty military personnel will need to present proof of service, such as a military ID, DD-214 form, or veteran designation on their ID card.
• Logan’s Roadhouse – This Veterans Day, Logan’s Roadhouse has a free meal (from a select menu) for military members from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ – Veterans get a complimentary Pulled Pork Sandwich or personal-sized Fried Chicken Plate for dine-in only on November 10 and 11, 2024. Plus, they receive a $10 bonus card valid November 24-December 3.
• Main Event – On November 11, 2024, active-duty military and veterans get a free double cheeseburger and 30 minute Fun Card with ID.
• Marzoni’s Brick Oven & Brewing Co. – Veterans receive a free 12 oz draft or soft drink on November 11. One drink per veteran. (No purchase required.) In addition, veterans will receive a $10 off $40 Voucher to be used on their next visit in the month of November.
• MOD Pizza – On November 11th, all veterans, active military personnel and their spouses are invited to enjoy the all-new Mega Cookie for free! To enjoy this sweet gesture, simply present a military ID while purchasing any MOD-sized pizza or salad at your local MOD Pizza. This offer is available in-restaurant only.
• Nashville Zoo – The Nashville Zoo is offering free admission to veterans, active military members, and their immediate families on Sunday, Nov. 10, for Military Appreciation Day. Reservations aren’t required.
• Olive Garden – Complimentary entrée from a special menu, featuring favorites like Chicken Parmigiana and Fettuccine Alfredo. As always, entrees come with unlimited breadsticks and soup or salad
• Outback Steakhouse – Active-duty military and veterans get a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage with the purchase of an adult entree in-restaurant on November 11, 2024.
• Peet’s Coffee – Veterans get one free drip coffee or tea of any size on November 11. Valid only at participating Peet’s retail coffeebar locations, and excludes online purchases, Peet’s locations within airports, supermarkets, and other licensed locations.
• Perry’s Steakhouse & Grill – Veterans who visit Perry’s Steakhouse & Grill on Veterans Day can enjoy a free pork chop when they bring a guest who purchases an entree. Veterans dining alone or with other veterans get 50% off their pork chop from 4 p.m. – close.
• P.F. Chang’s – Active-duty military and veterans get a free desert with purchase of an entree. The offer is valid for dine-in only with proof of service and is limited to one per service member.
• Pilot Flying J – On Veterans Day, service members and their families verified through ID.me in the myRewards Plus app will be eligible for a free meal credit up to $12.* The Veterans Day offer can be claimed on November 11 through Pilot’s myRewards Plus app and redeemed at participating Pilot, Flying J and One9 Fuel Network travel centers on a variety of food and beverage options, including hot and cold deli items, fountain beverages and Pilot coffee.*

Show a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem this dine-in only offer.

• Scooter’s Coffee – On Monday, Nov. 11 anyone with a valid Military ID is invited to stop by any of our 825+ locations nationwide to receive a free medium drink as a token of thanks and showing our appreciation for their service and sacrifice. • Sport Clips – Active-duty U.S. service members and veterans can get a free haircut at Sport Clips with proof of service. Sport Clips will also donate $2 from every haircut to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) as part of the Help a Hero Campaign.
• Staples – 25% discount on in-store purchases for veterans and active-duty military members from November 10 through 12.
• Starbucks – On November 11, 2024, Starbucks will offer a free tall (12-oz) brewed coffee (hot or iced) for Veterans, service members and military spouses at participating U.S. Starbucks stores.*Valid at participating U.S. locations. • Sullivan’s Steakhouse – Sullivan’s Steakhouse is honoring veterans and active military members with a FREE Signature Angus Burger with fries.
• Target – Target offers a 10% Circle military discount. Now through Nov. 11, 2024, eligible military members can save 10% on two qualifying purchases. Sign up for Target Circle (free) and verify eligibility online or in the Target app.
• Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe – Veterans can get a free grilled chicken gyro meal (with chips and a side) on Veterans Day at Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe.
• Texas Roadhouse – At participating locations, active-duty military and veterans can dine in or receive a meal voucher on November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a form of military ID. These vouchers are good for dine in or carry out at a later time. The voucher is good until May 30, 2025. If you choose to dine in on November 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m, there will be a specific menu to select from.
• TGI Fridays – Veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free meal on November 11 from 11am to 3pm from a select menu.
• The Budlong Southern Chicken – 50 percent off any sandwich, combo, or entrée with military proof (in-store only).
• The Greene Turtle – The Greene Turtle is offering veterans a free meal (up to $15) on Veterans Day.
• Tijuana Flats – To honor those who have served and sacrificed for our country, this Veterans Day, Tijuana Flats will invite all veterans to enjoy a free entrée (up to $11.19 in value) with the purchase of a beverage. • Tractor Supply – On First Responders Day (October 28) and Veterans Day (November 11), verified Hometown Heroes receive an exclusive discount for 10% off their purchase. Heroes must complete the Hometown Heroes verification process through Neighbor’s Club to receive their discount.
• Twin Peaks – Veterans can get a free lunch (from a select menu) at Twin Peaks on Veterans Day from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• U.S. National Park Service – The U.S. National Park Service lets military veterans and Gold Star families enjoy free access to national parks and other federal recreation areas for life.
• Vitality Bowls – Enjoy a free smoothie at Vitality Bowls with a military ID on Veterans Day.
• Vitamin Shoppe – Veterans and active-duty military receive 25% off on November 11. In-store only.
• Walgreens – From November 8 through 11, veterans, military and their families will receive 20% off regular price eligible store items at any Walgreens or Duane Reade drugstore nationwide. Restrictions may apply.
• Wendy’s – This Veterans Day, Wendy’s salutes those who served or are currently serving in the U.S. military with a free Breakfast Combo, no purchase required*, during breakfast hours on Monday, November 11. Fans can visit participating Wendy’s location on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11 during breakfast hours and receive their free breakfast combo by notifying the crew member at the register or showing their VetRewards Card, no military ID required!
• White Castle – Free Castle combo or breakfast combo for all veterans and active-duty military on Nov. 11th.
