Veterans Day 2022 – Free Meals for Veterans

Each year there are so many restaurants that give back to our service members by offering free meals and special offers on Veterans Day, below we have compiled a list of them. Keep in mind that offers can vary from location to location, so be sure to call ahead before you head out!

We will be updating this list as we find more. Be sure and check back to this page regularly!

Free Meals

• 7-Eleven – Veterans get a free Quarter-Pound Big Bite 100% all-beef hot dog on Nov. 11. Available in-store and via delivery through the 7NOW app.
• Another Broken Egg Cafe – Veterans and active-duty military get a free Patriot French Toast Combo & Coffee Nov. 11. Available for dine-in only at participating cafes.
• Applebee’s – Active-duty military, veterans, Reserves, and National Guard receive a free meal when dining in from a special menu on Nov. 11. And when dining in on Nov. 11, military guests will receive a $5 Bounce Back Card to redeem for dine-in, To Go, or delivery within a three-week redemption window.
• Bar Louie – Active-duty military and veterans get a free Craft Burger on Nov. 11 with a valid ID. Dine-in only.
• Biggby Coffee – Veterans and active-duty service members receive a free 16 oz beverage of choice on Nov. 11.
• BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse – On Nov. 11, current and former military members receive a free meal from a select menu. Dine-in only.
• Black Angus Steakhouse – Current and past members of the military get a free meal on Nov. 11 at all locations from 12pm to 3pm. This deal is not available to-go.
• Bob Evans – Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from a select menu on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.
• Calhoun’s – Veterans and active-duty military get a free lunch from 10:45am to 4pm on Nov. 11. Military ID required.
• California Pizza Kitchen – On Nov. 11, veterans and active-duty military receive a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage and choice of one entrée from a special menu.
• Carolina Ale House – Veterans and military members get a free rib platter with the purchase of a drink on Nov. 11.
• Cattlemens – Active, non-active, and retired military personal get a complimentary sirloin steak dinner in honor of Veterans Day. Sign up on their website on or before Nov. 11 to receive your steak certificate. The offer will be emailed on Nov. 12 and is valid Nov. 12-22 during regular business hours for outdoor dining or dine-in. The offer is not valid on takeout orders and is valid at California locations only.
• Charleys Philly Steaks – Veterans and active-duty military get free Gourmet Fries in-store with no purchase necessary on Nov. 11. In addition, Charleys’ locations on military bases are offering free gourmet fries with the purchase of a cheesesteak and drink for all customers.
• Chelo’s Hometown Bar & Grille – Veterans with a valid military ID get a free meal from a select menu on Nov. 11.
• Chicken Salad Chick – On Nov. 11, veterans and active-duty military will receive a free meal at all locations. Dine-in only.
• Chili’s – Veterans and active-duty service members get a free meal from a select menu on Nov. 11. Available for in-restaurant only.
• Cicis Pizza – Active and retired military personnel get a free adult buffet on Nov. 11. The offer is valid for dine-in only and it does not include a drink.
• Circle K – Veterans and active-duty service members get a free medium coffee all day Nov. 11 at every location that serves coffee.
• Claim Jumper – Veterans and active-duty military receive a free meal from a special menu at participating locations on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.
• Colton’s Steak House & Grill – Veterans and active-duty service members get a free entrée on Nov. 11 until 4 pm from a select menu. Available for dine-in only. Offer not available in Kentucky locations.
• Cotton Patch Cafe – Veterans and active-duty military get a free Chicken Fried Steak or Chicken Fried Chicken Entrée with a valid military ID on Nov. 11.
• Country Kitchen – Active and retired military get a free Country Scramble on Nov. 11 at participating locations. Dine-in only.
• Cracker Barrel – Veterans get a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake in-store or online on Nov. 11.
• Crooked Pint Ale House – Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal on Nov. 11 at participating locations.
• Davanni’s Pizza and Hot Hoagies – On Nov. 11, active-duty military and veterans get a Free Solo 1-item Pizza and Regular Pop. Show proof of service and mention when you order for dine-in, takeout, or curbside.
• Dickey’s Barbecue Pit – Veterans and active-duty military get a Free Pulled Pork Sandwich on Nov. 11. Valid in-store, and online/app for carryout with code ‘VETFREE’.
• Duffy’s Sports Grill – Veterans get a free meal on Nov. 11 from 11am to 4pm. Dine-in only.
• Dunkin’ Donuts – Veterans and active-duty military get a free donut of their choice on Nov. 11 at participating locations. Offer available in-store only. Not available for orders placed using On-the-Go Mobile Ordering through the Dunkin’ Mobile App.
• Emmet’s Social Table – Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal up to $15 on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.
• Famous Dave’s – Veterans and active-duty military get a free Lunch Georgia Chopped Pork Sandwich and choice of side on Nov. 11. When ordering online, use code ‘VETERAN’ to receive the discount. Must present valid proof of service at pickup. Not valid for Call-In Orders or Delivery.
• Firebirds Wood Fired Grill – Dine with a veteran or active-duty service member on Nov. 11 at participating locations and their meal is free. Dine-in only.
• Food City – Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from the Deli Hot Bar on Nov. 11.
• Fox & Hound – Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal on Nov. 11.
• Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers – Veterans and active military personnel who visit on Nov. 11 will receive a free Freddy’s Original Double with Cheese combo meal card that can be redeemed through Nov. 30.
• Gold Star Chili – Veterans and active-duty military receive a free regular 3-Way and regular drink on Nov. 11. This offer is valid for dine-in, carry out or drive-thru.
• Golden Corral – Golden Corral is hosting their Military Appreciation Night on Nov. 14 from 5pm to close. This includes a free “thank you” meal when dining in.
• Grady’s BBQ – Veterans and active-duty military get a free one meat sandwich on Nov. 11.
• Green Mill Restaurant and Bar – Veterans and active-duty military get a free menu item at participating locations on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.
• Greene Turtle – Veterans get a free meal up to $13 value on Nov. 11 with valid ID. Dine-in only.
• GuacAmigos – Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from a special menu on Nov. 11.
• Hamburger Stand – Veterans and active-duty military get a free hamburger, regular fries and a small Pepsi on Nov. 11 at participating locations.
• Hooters – Active-duty military and veterans get a free entrée from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu with purchase of a beverage on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.
• Huddle House – Active-duty military members and veterans get a free MVP Breakfast Platter on Nov. 11 at participating locations.
• IHOP – Veterans and active-duty military get free Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes at participating locations on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.
• Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant – Veterans and active-duty service members receive a complimentary burger or sandwich along with a non-alcoholic beverage on Nov. 11.
• J. Christopher’s – On Nov. 11, veterans get a free meal at participating locations with valid proof of service. Dine-in only.
• Kings Family Restaurant – Veterans and active-duty military members get a free meal from a select menu on Nov. 11.
• Krispy Kreme – Veterans get a free coffee and doughnut on November 11 at participating locations.
• Lab Bakery & Coffee Bar – Active-duty service members and veterans get a free cup of coffee and a slice of vanilla pound cake on Nov. 11 with a valid ID.
• LaMar’s Donuts – Veterans and active-duty military get a free donut and 12 oz. coffee at participating locations on Nov. 11.
• Little Caesars – Veterans and active-duty military get a free Lunch Combo at participating stores on Nov. 11, from 11am to 2pm. In-store only.
• Logan’s Roadhouse – Veterans and active-duty military personnel can enjoy a free meal between 3 and 6 p.m. from a special menu at participating locations on Nov. 11.
• Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ – Active-duty personnel and veterans get a complimentary personal sized entree from a select menu on Nov. 11, dine-in or take out only. Not valid for online orders or through any third party. Lucille’s is also giving veterans and active-duty military a $10 Thank You For Your Service Bonus Cards.
• Macaroni Grill – Veterans and active-duty military receive a free Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs + Spaghetti with military ID on Nov. 11.
• Max & Erma‘s – Veterans and active-duty military get a free Cheeseburger, Endless Fries, fountain drink and a cookie on Nov. 11 at participating locations.
• McGrath’s Fish House – Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal on Nov. 11 from a select menu.
• Menchie’s – Veterans and active-duty military get their first 6 oz of froyo free on Nov. 11 with proof of service.
• Mission BBQ – Veterans get a free sandwich on Nov. 11.
• MOD Pizza – Buy one MOD-size pizza or salad, get one MOD-size pizza or salad free on Nov. 11 with proof of military service. Valid in-store only.
• Ninety Nine Restaurant and Pub – Veterans and active-duty military get a free lunch from a select menu with the purchase of another entrée on Nov. 11 from 11am to 5pm. Dine-in only.
• O’Charley’s – Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal when you dine in on Nov. 11 at participating locations.
• Outback Steakhouse – Veterans, active-duty service members and spouses get a free Bloomin’ Onion with any Coca-Cola beverage for dine-in on Nov. 11.
• Parry’s Pizza – Veterans and active-duty military get a full-size entrée and fountain drink for free on Nov. 11. Offer available for dine-in or takeout.
• Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille – Active-duty military and veterans get one complimentary dinner chop when accompanied by a guest purchasing one dinner entrée on Nov. 10 from 4PM to closing or one or one complimentary Pork Chop Lunch when accompanied by a guest purchasing one lunch or dinner entrée on Nov. 11. Dine-in only. Reservations required.
• Pilot Flying J – Veterans get a free meal at participating locations Nov. 11-13 through a special offer in the app.
• Primanti Bros – Veterans and active-duty military get a free sandwich on Nov. 11.
• Red Lobster – Veterans, active-duty military and reservists get a free Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, Fries, and Coleslaw on Nov. 11. The offer is available for dine-in and To Go orders placed in-restaurant between 11:00am and 4:00pm local time.
• Red Robin – Veterans and active-duty military get a free Red’s Tavern Double when dining in on Nov. 11. This classic burger also comes with free refills of Bottomless Steak Fries.
• RibCrib – Veterans get a free meal from a select menu on Nov. 11.
• Rodizio Grill – Veterans who dine Nov. 7-11 eat free with purchase of one Full Rodizio adult dinner. Proof of service required. Valid at select locations only.
• Rosa Mexicano – Veterans and active-duty service members receive a complimentary meal on Nov. 11.
• Seven Doors Kitchen & Cocktails – Veterans and active-duty military get one free entrée and one non-alcoholic beverage on Nov. 11 from 11am-9pm. Dine in or take away only.
• Shane’s Rib Shack – Active and inactive military and veterans get a free Pork or BBQ Chicken plate Nov. 9-11. Proof of service required. Valid in-store only.
• Shoney’s – Veterans and active-duty service members get a free All You Care To Eat, Freshly Prepared Breakfast Bar on Nov. 11 until 11am. Dine-in only.
• Smashburger – Get a free Burger or Sandwich when you show a valid military ID in-store on Nov. 11 with valid proof of military ID at participating locations.
• Sonny’s BBQ – Veterans and active-duty military get a Free Pork Big Deal Nov. 11. Go to their registration page to verify your military status and get your coupon. For dine-in and takeout only.
• Starbucks – As with previous years, Starbucks will offer a free tall (12-oz) hot brewed coffee for veterans, military service members and military spouses on Nov. 11. As a new addition in 2022, Starbucks is expanding this offer to include a free tall (12-oz) iced coffee.
• Sticky Fingers – Veterans and active-duty military get a free pulled pork sandwich and fries on Nov. 11. Dine-in only with valid ID.
• TCBY – Veterans and active military personnel get their first 6 oz. of frozen yogurt for free on Nov. 11 at participating locations.
• Texas Roadhouse – Veterans and active-duty military receive a meal voucher on Nov. 11, from 11am to 2pm. These vouchers are good for dine in or carry out and can be used until May 30, 2023. There will be a specific menu to select from.
• TGI Fridays – Veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free lunch on Nov. 11 from 11am to 2pm from a select menu at participating locations. Dine-in only
• TravelCenters of America – Active-duty military and veterans get a free breakfast, lunch or dinner at a participating full serve or quick serve restaurant on Nov. 11 with proof of service.
• Tucanos Brazilian Grill – Veterans get a free Churrasco meal with the purchase of another Churrasco meal, Nov. 10-12.
• Tuscan Brands – On Nov. 11, Tuscan Kitchen, Tuscan Sea Grill & Bar, and Toscana Italian Chop House & Wine Bar will be serving a family style meal to veterans and one guest from 11am to 4pm. Veterans and their guest can RSVP by calling the restaurant located in the town they reside.
• Twin Peaks – Veterans and active-duty service members get a free lunch on Nov. 11 from 11am to 3pm. Dine-in only.
• Uno Pizzeria & Grill – Veteran and active-duty military get a free meal on Nov. 11 with proper ID at participating locations.
• Wienerschnitzel – Veterans and active-duty military receive a free Chili Dog, small fries and a small drink at participating locations on Nov. 11.
• White Castle – Veterans and active-duty military get a free Castle Combo Meal when dining at a participating restaurant on Nov. 11.
• Yard House – Veterans & active-duty military receive a free appetizer on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.
• Ziggi’s Coffee – Active-duty military and veterans get one free 16 oz. drink on Nov. 11.

Restaurant Deals

• 54th Street Grill – Veterans and active-duty military get up to $10 off any entrée on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.
• Army & Air Force Exchange Service – On Nov. 11, MILITARY STAR cardholders will receive various deals, including 15% off food purchases at participating Exchange restaurants and complimentary brewed coffee at Express stores and participating restaurants.
• Brick House Tavern + Tap – Veterans get 20% off on Nov. 13. Valid for parties up to 4 with a valid ID. Dine-in only.
• CentraArchy Restaurants – Veterans and active-duty military members get an entrée from the full menu at half price on Nov. 11.
• Chop House – On Nov. 11, veterans and active-duty service members get 50% off entrees.
• Eat’n Park – All former and current military personnel receive 10% off for themselves and their entire party each time they dine in for the entire month of November. Dine-in only.
• Glory Days Grill – Active-duty military and veterans receive 10% off their table on Nov. 11.
• Joe’s Crab Shack – Veterans get 20% off when they dine-in on Nov. 13 with a valid ID.
• MacKenzie River – Show proof of military service and get 25% off for your entire table on Nov. 11. Available for dine-in and carryout only. Not available through online ordering.
• McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants – Veterans, National Guard, Gold Star parents and Gold Star Spouses can enjoy a select half-priced entrée on Nov. 13. Reservations are strongly recommended.
• Willy’s Mexicana Grill – Active-duty, Reserve, and retired members of the military, and their families get a 20% discount for the entire month of November with a valid ID. The discount covers up to six immediate family members. Dine-in only.

Hair Cuts

• Great Clips – Veterans and active-duty service members can go into any U.S. Great Clips salon and get a free haircut on or a free haircut card for a future visit on Nov. 11. Non-military customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at Great Clips salons will also have the opportunity to pay it forward. They can receive a free haircut card to give to an active service member or veteran they know as a way of saying thank you. The cards can be redeemed for a free haircut from Nov. 12 through Dec. 9, 2022.
• Sport Clips – Participating locations will provide free haircuts Nov. 11 to veterans and active-duty military members.

Shopping

• Bed Bath & Beyond – Veterans, active-duty military and their spouses can receive a 25% percent discount on in-store purchases until Nov. 11.
• Dollar General – Active-duty military, veterans and their immediate families can take 20% off their purchase between Nov. 10-13 after creating a Dollar General account.
• Food Lion – All active-duty military members & veterans can save 10% on their in-store shopping purchase total before taxes on Nov. 11 with a valid ID.
• Office Depot or Office Max – Veterans & active-duty military members can take 20% off regular-priced items in-store only on Nov. 11 with a valid ID.
• Publix – Veterans and their families can save 10% on groceries purchased in-store Nov. 11 with a valid ID.
• Rack Room Shoes – U.S. military personnel and their families can receive a 20% discount on in-store purchases on Nov. 11; every Tuesday, the military discount is 10%. A valid ID must be presented.
• Tractor Supply – Active and former military members and their dependents can get a 15% discount in stores on Nov. 11 with a valid ID.

Travel

• National Parks – All national parks offer free admission for everyone on Nov. 11.
• Six Flags – All veterans & active-duty military will receive free admissions, free parking, free commemorative gift, free drink bottle, free meal, and more! Friends & Family of veterans will receive discounted park admissions. Valid Military ID required, all redemptions will take place at the Front Gate on Nov. 12-13.
