Microsoft is once again increasing the prices of its Xbox consoles in the United States, effective October 3, 2025. This marks the second price hike this year, following a global increase in May. However, this latest adjustment is limited to US customers only, with accessories such as controllers and headsets remaining unaffected.
Here are the new retail prices for Xbox consoles in the US:
- Xbox Series S 512GB: $399.99 (up from $379.99)
- Xbox Series S 1TB: $449.99 (up from $429.99)
- Digital-only Xbox Series X: $599.99 (up from $549.99)
- Standard Xbox Series X: $649.99 (up from $599.99)
If you’re considering whether to purchase an Xbox now or wait for a new model, keep in mind that Microsoft is not expected to launch the next-generation Xbox until 2027, so the decision might be challenging.
