Walmart Rewards is Now Walmart Cash & Is Available for ALL Shoppers

Walmart Rewards is now Walmart Cash and it isn’t just for Walmart+ Members! All Walmart shoppers can now earn Walmart Cash on their purchases, thanks to manufacturer offers powered by Ibotta.

Get cash back from manufacturers on over 1,000 products! Earn $0.50 – $10 back on select items. Everything that you ear gets added to your Walmart Cash balance and can redeem on future purchases or be cashed out at a Walmart MoneyCenter.

Here is everything you need to know about the new Walmart Cash:

1. Earn anywhere from $0.50 – $10 cash back when there is a manufacturer offer available. All shoppers can use Walmart Cash, but only Walmart Plus members can earn Walmart Cash on travel bookings through their Walmart Plus Travel benefit.

2. Walmart’s manufacturer offers are powered by Ibotta. If you have used Ibotta, you will see the manufacturer offers at Walmart look a lot like Ibotta cash-back offers. Browse and save manufacturer offers directly from your Walmart account online or in the app.

3. Find and add manufacturer offers from the Walmart Cash page, search bar, or product listings online or in the Walmart app. If an item has an offer, it will be marked with the blue “Get Walmart Cash” label. To earn follow the steps below:

• • Sign into your Walmart account online or in the app.
  • If an item has an offer, tap “Get Walmart Cash”.
  • Add the the items to your cart and place your order.
  • Once your order completed, the manufacturer offer amount gets added to your Walmart Cash balance.

4. You can use the Walmart barcode scanner to see if an item has any manufacturer offers in-store. Use the barcode scanner in the Walmart app.

5. You can apply your balance to your purchase at checkout in the app or online by selecting “apply Walmart Cash balance” in the Wallet section at checkout. If the balance doesn’t cover your purchase amount, you will have to choose a payment method for the remaining amount. To redeem in-store, open the Walmart app at checkout and tap “Use Walmart Cash”.

6. You can redeem your Walmart Cash on almost anything in the store. The exclusions are:

• • AlcoholTobacco
  • Firearm and ammunition products
  • Lottery tickets
  • Financial services (including those offered by Walmart MoneyCenters)
  • Membership fees for Walmart Plus
  • All gift cards (including Walmart gift cards and prepaid cards from Visa, Mastercard, or AMEX)
  • Prescription drugs, medical supplies, co-pays, and deductibles
  • Health care services provided by Walmart
  • Optical products and services

7. Redeem your Walmart Cash for real cash at the Walmart MoneyCenter or Customer Service desk. Your balance needs to be at least $25 to cash out. To cash out in the store follow the steps below:

• • Select “Ways to earn” on your Walmart Cash page online or in the app.
  • Under the Walmart Cash tools, select“Cashout in-store”.
  • Generate the barcode by selecting “Show cash out barcode” .
  • Show your cash-out barcode and valid ID to an employee at the MoneyCenter or Customer Service desk
  • Redeem $25 – $100 in a single day.

8. Unfortunately, you cannot use manufacturer coupons and earn Walmart Cash on a single item. If you use a paper coupon, you won’t earn anything from the manufacturer offer in Walmart Cash.

9. Walmart return policy doesn’t let you keep Walmart Cash for an item that is returned. When a return is processed, your earnings will be deducted from your balance.
