Walmart is planning on closing a handful of stores this year. Five stores will close in four states: Illinois, Wisconsin, New Mexico, and Florida. In addition, they are ending the nine-year experiment with two pick-up only locations in Illinois and Arkansas.
The closures follow a trend of Walmart closing a handful of stores across various states each year for “underperforming”.
These stores will close forever by March 10th:
