Fender Guitar Correspondent Contest

NOTE: As part of your submission, upload or provide links to original content you’ve created. This must include a video (up to 3 minutes) sharing why you’d be a great Guitar Correspondent, how guitar has impacted your life, your Fender gear setup, favorite festival artists, the solo that changed your life, and your guitar journey. You should also include examples of artist interviews, live event photography, social media links, and any additional creative work that supports your application. All materials must be your original work.

• (1) GRAND PRIZE: Opportunity to be Fender Guitar Correspondent, which includes compensation in the form of a $10,000 check made payable to the winner for the performance of services as an independent contractor for Sponsor, and subject to winner completing and returning to Sponsor a signed Independent Contractor Agreement. Round-trip coach class airfare, hotel accommodation, and per diem for meals and incidentals for the winner to travel to and attend a maximum of five Sponsor designated music festivals within the fifty U.S. and D.C. scheduled to take place between April, 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 (each a “Trip”).  Each Trip will have a maximum approximate value of $2,000, based on the winner’s residence and location of the designated event.  Per diem amount as solely determined and designated by Sponsor depending on the designated event, location, and number of travel days Total maximum ARV of grand prize award: $20,000.
  • Winner shall be required to capture video, photography, and first-hand interview content for Sponsor’s sole and exclusive use from each of the music festivals the winner attends during a Trip.
  • Music festivals’ dates, locations, and entry ticket type, are solely determined and designated by Sponsor, subject to availability.
  • Dates, times, airlines, airports of flight service, hotel location, and all other travel details are solely determined and designated by Sponsor, subject to participant’s availability.
