In a vicious news cycle of store closing sales, it’s exciting to finally see a store that’s opening new locations! Big Lots will be opening a whopping 200 locations after announcing that all locations would close in December.
There will be 9 stores opening first as a soft-launch this month, and then the remaining 192 locations will slowly open through June! Variety Wholesalers, the owners have said that they’ll be refurbishing stores, cleaning, and buying new categories of merchandise. It may not be the Big Lots we know and remember, but it’s exciting that there will be something new!

I hope one reopens near me! I’ve shopped Big Lots for at least 20 years. Everything I need I bought there. Now I think I really need to pick an item up I think I need t go to Big Lots. Then I just get sad. I love that store!
