If your personal data was exposed in one of the major AT&T data breaches in 2024, you may be eligible for a cash payment of up to $7,500 as part of a newly announced class action settlement.
The settlement resolves claims that AT&T failed to properly protect customer information in two separate data breaches affecting up to 182 million people. Depending on which breach you were affected by—and whether you can provide documentation of financial losses—you may qualify for compensation.
NOTE: Customers who are unsure if they qualify can call (833) 890-4930. Eligible customers will receive an email alert from attsettlement@e.emailksa.com – the address for Kroll Settlement Administration.
Who’s Eligible – Anyone whose data was included in either of the two AT&T data breaches:
-
AT&T Data Incident 1: Announced March 30, 2024 — exposed personal information such as names, addresses, SSNs, etc.
-
AT&T Data Incident 2: Announced July 12, 2024 — exposed telephone-related data from a third-party cloud platform.

AT&T Data Breach 2: Up to $2,500 for documented losses, or a pro rata share of $28 million fund (Tier 3). Final amounts depend on number of valid claims and deductions for fees and costs.
