What’s This Class Action Settlement About?
The lawsuit claims The Walt Disney Company violated federal and state antitrust and consumer-protection laws by raising the prices of streaming live pay television services, causing subscribers to pay more than they had to.
Who Qualifies for the Settlement?
Anyone who purchased either of the following during April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2026:
- YouTube TV subscription
- DirecTV streaming live pay TV subscription, including DirecTV Stream, DirectTV Now, or AT&T TV Now.
How Much Money Can You Get?
Disney agreed to a $50 million payout. Eligible class members who submit a valid claim can receive a pro rata cash payment, meaning the amount varies based on how long you were subscribed to the streaming service.
Is Proof Required?
Settlement payments are based on your subscription history and claimants may need to provide the information requested on the form.
