SONIC is launching new fall treats — the Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee and Salted Caramel Croissant Bites — to give pumpkins a seasonal break. The brand playfully promotes the change with a PSA titled “Save a Pumpkin, Sip a Salted Caramel Toffee Iced Coffee,” featuring comedians Alexandra Madison and Jon Bouff. The ad humorously highlights pumpkin overuse in fall products and promotes salted caramel as a new seasonal favorite.
In support of actual pumpkins, SONIC is donating $15,000 to Agricity’s Pumpkins for the People, which rescues edible pumpkins, promotes composting, and raises awareness about food waste.
