Have you guys heard of the Acorns app yet? Its a great app where you can invest your spare change. It has several features that I love – and I use this app all the time! Right now they are offering up a $20 Investment Bonus, usually only $5! GO! Open a new account and setup a recurring deposit of $5 or more.
First thing I love, is the round up feature. So I have connected my debit card, and when I purchase something, it rounds up to the nearest dollar and invests the money for me!
I also have it set up where I transfer a set amount of money each week to it as well, kind of like a savings account that invest for me!
AND MY FAVORITE WAY TO USE THE APP – is when I am out clearance shopping – face it, we have all had a cart with more stuff than we need in it. What I do sometimes, is put back some of the items that are in my cart, figure out the value of what I put back, then send that amount of money to Acorns to be invested for me – and it works perfectly! There is a small fee with this one, but it has been totally worth it to me!
