Role Responsibilities & Expectations

In this role, you will create and publish short-form videos and static content for Instagram and TikTok and identify cultural and trending moments and quickly turn them into engaging content. Expectations include: 

• Collaborating with Yelp’s market-based and cross-functional teams
• Monitoring Yelp’s social media analytics and use performance data to improve content
• Support and maintain Yelp’s social media presence with brand, communications and community teams

Required Skills & Experience

There is no degree required for this position, just 2 to 3 years of professional social media experience, particularly with Instagram and/or TikTok and a portfolio showing published short-form video and social media content with real engagement. 

An ideal candidate for this position should: 

• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision 
• Have a strong understanding of social media trends and platforms 
• Have experience with mobile-first editing and basic design tools such as Canva 
• Have strong copywriting skills, including captions, hooks and Call To Actions  

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range is $28 to $35 per hour with the opportunity to work up to 25 hours per week!
