Instacart is hiring for a Billing Operations Associate position. This role is fully remote and may be a good fit for applicants looking for a full-time work from home billing and operations position.

Role Responsibilities & Expectations

In this role, you will manage the end-to-end billing process for Instacart’s retail partners. responsibilities include: 

• Managing monthly billing cycles and ensuring invoices are calculated and delivers accurately and on time.
• Reviewing commercial contracts and identifying billing requirements 
• Responding to billing questions and escalating complex disputes when needed 
• Supporting audits and completing additional billing-related projects 
• Processing credit and debit memos as well as any refunds.

Required Skills & Experience

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience in billing operations, order-to-cash or a similar position. Experience in B2B technology, marketplace or SaaS environment is preferred. Required skills and experience include: 

• Strong understanding of invoice processes
• Proficiency with Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel 
• Familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems 
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

This full-time position offers a location-based base pay of $28.37 to $32.94 per hour, depending on the applicants permanent work location. Instacart also provides competitive benefits, with offerings varying based on location and other factors.
