Any current or former owners and lessees of certain 2018-2022 Volkswagen Atlas or Atlas Cross Sport vehicles equipped with a 3.6 liter engine that was purchased in the United states or Puerto Rico.
Eligibility should be confirmed using the vehicles VIN number.
What’s This Class Action Settlement About?
The lawsuit claims that the main engine water pump in certain Volkswagen vehicles can prematurely fail, potentially causing a coolant leak that may require repair or replacement.
Who Qualifies for the Settlement?
Anyone who has purchased or leased an eligible 2018-2022 Volkswagen Atlas or Atlas Cross Sport with a 3.6 liter engine in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.
How Much Money Can You Get?
Eligible class member who previously paid for a qualifying water pump or head gasket repair/replacement may receive a 80% reimbursement of the paid invoice amount.
For repairs performed by a non-authorized Volkswagen dealer will receive a maximum repair amount of $820 for a main engine water pump and d$ 3,325 for a head gasket repair.
Is Proof Required?
Yes, Proof is required for reimbursement claims. Eligible class members must submit a claim form along with supporting documentation showing the qualifying repair and payment.
