This Class Action Settlement Affects:
Anyone who purchased fresh or frozen beef products made from chuck, loin, rub or round between January 1, 2015 to February 29, 2020.
This excludes organic, grass-fed, certified humane beef products.
What’s This Class Action Settlement About?
Tyson Foods Inc. and Tyson Fresh Meats Inc. allegedly participated in an antitrust conspiracy to inflate beef prices. This Settlement only applies to Tyson and does not affect claims against other Defendants in the case.
Who Qualifies for the Settlement?
Anyone who purchased Tyson beef products from January 1, 2015, through February 29, 2020, whether fresh or frozen, Beef product made from chuck, loin, rib, or round.
How Much Money Can You Get?
Tyson has agreed to pay $82.5 million to resolve the claims in this lawsuit. Payments will depend on the amount of beef purchases you made during the eligible period as well as the total number of valid claims submitted.
Is Proof Required?
Yes. You must submit a valid Claim Form with proof of purchase of the qualifying beef products.
