The lawsuit claims that Palm Beach Tan sent telemarketing text messages to people who had already requested that the company stop messaging them.
Who Qualifies for the Settlement?
Palm Beach Tan, Inc and Archer Malmo, Inc. have agreed to $2.5 million class action settlement resolving allegations. You may qualify if between June 19, 2019 and July 5, 2026, you sent an inbound text message STOP request to Palm Beach Tan and you subsequently received at least one Palm Beach Tan marketing/advertising text message at that phone number.
How Much Money Can You Get?
Eligible class members can receive up to $1,500 per qualifying post-STOP message reflected in Palm Beach Tan’s text-message records. However, the amount will depend on the number of valid claims filed.
Is Proof Required?
No additional proof is required. The settlement admin will use the text-message data to determine the qualifying post-STOP messages. You will still need to submit a valid claim form to receive a payment.
