This Class Action Settlement Affects:
Any U.S. resident whose phone numbers were register on the National Do-Not-Call Registry for at least 30 days and received more than one text message from or on behalf of O’Reilly Automotive within a 12-month period after their number was reassigned to them.
What’s This Class Action Settlement About?
The lawsuit claims that O’Reilly Automotive violated a federal law called the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”) by sending text messages to phone numbers on the National Do-Not-Call Registry and without consent.
Who Qualifies for the Settlement?
Anyone who received two or more text messages from O’Reilly Automotive after your telephone number was assigned to you and when your telephone number was on the National Do-Not-Call Registry.
How Much Money Can You Get?
Eligible class members who submit a claim before the deadline will receive a cash payment of up to $22 per person. That amount depends on the number of approved claims and other settlement expenses.
Is Proof Required?
No, proof is not required. You can submit a claim and O’Reilly’s records will be used to identify the potential class members.
