Operation Santa: Give Back or Write Your Own Wish List to Santa to Receive Gifts if You’re in Need

It’s here! The USPS is has officially opened their Operation Santa program for the 2026 year! You can head to the link below and see how you can send gifts to families this year! If your family is in need this year, you can also write a letter to Santa, sharing your shipping details and your holiday wishes for the year.

If you write a letter to Santa, later on, families can choose to “adopt” your letters to send them gifts for the holiday season! The 2026 program is officially open, you’ll just need to be sure to have your wishes postmarked by December 5th, 2026. You can see how to write your letter here.
