People or businesses in the U.S. who purchased repair services for qualifying John Deere equipment from John Deere or an authorized Deere dealer between January 10, 2018 and May 18, 2026
What’s This Class Action Settlement About?
the lawsuit claims that Deere & Company aka John Deere, withheld certain diagnostic and repair tools from customers and independent repair providers. This caused customers and repair providers to pay more than the otherwise would have.
Who Qualifies for the Settlement?
Any person or business who purchased a repair service for qualifying John Deere equipment from John Deere or an authorized Deere dealer between January 10, 2018 and May 18, 2026. Qualifying equipment includes certain John Deere tractors, combines, cotton pickers and more.
You do not have to have a received a settlement notice to qualify for this class action settlement.
How Much Money Can You Get?
John Deere reached a proposed settlement consisting of $99 million in cash, plus interest accruing since January 15, 2026
At the time of this notice, the total value of the Settlement is estimated by Plaintiffs’ expert to be between $392.9 million and $747 million (including injunctive relief valued between $293.9 million and $648 million).
Is Proof Required?
Proof may be required to qualify, supporting documentation such as invoices or repair records may be needed.
You do not need to have received a settlement notice to file a claim. If you believe you meet the eligibility requirement, you can still submit a claim.
