What’s This Class Action Settlement About?
The lawsuit claims Furniture Mart USA Inc. experienced a targeted cyberattack back in November 2024 in which certain files containing personal information of customers were accessed.
Who Qualifies for the Settlement?
Anyone in the U.S. whose personal information was potentially compromised in the November 2024 Furniture Mart USA Inc. data breach. Potentially affected information may have included names, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
You do not necessarily need to have experienced identity theft or fraud to qualify.
How Much Money Can You Get?
Eligible class members may choose among several benefits including:
- Up to $4,500 for documented out-of-pocket losses related to the data breach.
- Up to $100 for time spent responding to the breach. (This is calculated at $25 per hour for up to four hours)
- $75 alternative cash payment (This is for claims with no proof)
- Up to 3 years of credit monitoring, including $1 million in identity theft insurance.
Is Proof Required?
No proof is required for the alternative $75 cash payment. However, documentation such as receipts or bank statements is required for documented-loss claims. For lost-time claims spent responding to the breach may require a brief description of the time spent.

- Exclusion Deadline: October 5, 2026
