If you have an IKEA nearby.. You may be happy to hear that IKEA regularly hosts free events! They have free giveaways, free crafting events, celebrations and more!
With the 2026-2027 school year fast approaching, IKEA is getting ready with some free events for teachers and students! Dates vary at all locations, so be sure to check.
Here are some of the popular and big events that are coming soon that I am seeing at some locations:
- Teacher Appreciation Days – RSVP in advance for this one. The first 100 teachers to check in will receive a free welcome gift with a valid school ID.
- The Back to College gift card giveaway – The first 100 IKEA Family members to show their student ID at 12:00 PM will get an envelope containing a $5, $10, or $100 IKEA gift card!
- BINGO nights – Winners will receive an As-Is gift of their choice from the prize table.
- Various kids crafts and events – Many locations offer various kids crafts, such as a hot dog day craft, sunny day party craft, and even cooking club events!
