Head’s up y’all!! Verizon and Wireless Zone is back in 2026 with their HUGE “School Rocks Backpack Giveaway”! This years giveaway is bigger than ever – with 125,000 backpacks being given away to children entering grades Kindergarten thru 12th grade in Fall 2026!
The big date? July 26th at 1pm! Head into Verizon and Wireless Zone stores to score a free backpack! This year 125,000 FREE backpacks will be given away across 1,300 stores.
To add to the fun, 48 participating stores will also be hosting a “Golden Ruler” giveaway. At each of the participating stores, 48 lucky students will find a golden ruler keychain in their backpack—and score a $250 Visa for school supplies!
