What is Amazon Freevee?
Have you seen Amazon Freevee circulating and wondered what it was? Well it’s actually nothing new, but more like a rebranding of the old IMDb. The service launched in January 2019 as IMDb Freedive, before becoming IMDb TV five months later. It was rebranded to its current name on April 28, 2022. Amazon Freevee offers a selection of digital movies and TV shows for no additional cost and is supported via ads.
Freevee features a variety of shows including the popular original series Bosch: Legacy. This is a spin-off from Amazon Prime Video’s series Bosch. Rumor is there is a lot more original content coming including a reality TV series and various films. Keep in mind although it is free, you do have to put up with the ads, as that is how the platform is paid for. If that doesn’t bother you, check it out and let us know what you think.
