How to get free baby stuff while pregnant
It’s nice to get free stuff after your baby is born, but it’s even better to get it before the baby is born. That way, you’re prepared with goodies before they arrive!
We highly recommend the section below on free baby boxes. You can receive them through certain retailers when you sign up for their baby registries. In most of our research, free baby boxes are one of the most effective ways to get baby freebies while pregnant. Keep reading!
Baby registry welcome boxes
Many retailers offer free baby boxes when you open a baby registry through them! This means that when you create a baby registry through their website, you’ll receive a box with free baby freebies like diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, and more.
The contents of each gift box will vary based on the retailer, and certain limitations apply, but here’s what we could find based on some of the most popular free baby boxes on the web.
Target
The Target Baby Box includes over $100 worth of samples, and you can get it as soon as you open your baby registry at Target. The free baby box includes bottles, diapers, and loads of coupons. You must have an account on Target.com or the Target app to get your baby box, but you can pick it up at your local Target location once you make your registry.
Walmart
When you set up a Walmart.com account, you can create a Walmart baby registry that qualifies you for a free baby box. The gifts in the box vary based on availability, but we’ve seen free goodies like diapers, baby shampoo, wipes, pacifiers, and anti-colic bottles.
However, at the time of this article, the Walmart baby registry box has been out of stock for several months. If you want a baby box and not just a registry, get started at another retailer.
Amazon
The Amazon Baby Welcome Box includes an array of goods like anti-colic bottles, baby wipes, a muslin cloth swaddle blanket, a onesie, diaper samples, nursing pads, and more. But there are specific terms for the Amazon free baby box. You have to be an Amazon Prime member, add ten items to your baby registry, and get $10 worth of goods purchased from your baby registry. Then, you can order your box!
Babylist
The Babylist Baby Box is a great free baby box with quality goods. The box includes samples of pacifiers, bottles, diapers and wipes, bibs, hats, and lots of coupons. The instructions are a bit robust, though. You must create a registry including three items from the Babylist shop and three from other retailers, complete 40% of the baby registry checklist, purchase $30 worth of goods from the registry, and then pay for shipping. Phew!
