2024 Teacher Appreciation Week Freebies, Deals & More!

Starting May 6th, 2024 marks Teacher Appreciation Week! We’ve compiled the best Teacher Deals and Freebies to honor our educators. Grab free drinks at McAlister’s Deli, complimentary coffee at Barnes & Noble’s cafe, and enjoy discounts in-store and online at various retailers. Teacher Appreciation Week in the US usually falls during the first full week of May. In 2024, it runs from May 6th to May 10th.

Freebies

• Applebee’s – Teachers (with valid ID) who dine-in at Applebee’s during National Teacher’s Appreciation Week will receive a free dessert with any purchase. Plus, you’ll get a voucher for a BOGO free entree for a future order. You can redeem the voucher from May 13 through June 9, 2024.
• Buffalo Wild Wings – Buffalo Wild Wings is giving a shoutout to teachers with a 20% discount from May 6-12, 2024. Offer is valid for dine-in, call-in, and walk-in orders only. You must show valid ID.
• Build My Burgers – On May 6th, 7th, and 8th, teachers will receive a free single cheeseburger at Build My Burgers located at 3402 Technological Ave in Orlando, Florida. Likewise, nurses can grab their free single cheeseburger on May 9th and 10th. There is no purchase necessary for the freebie; all that is required is a valid I.D.
• BurgerFi – From Monday, May 6 to Sunday, May 12, 2024, BurgerFi and Anthony’s will offer a 20% discount on all orders, with a valid ID at participating restaurants.
• Dickey BBQ Pit – This year, Dickey’s BBQ Pit is again offering nurses (with valid employment ID) a free Big Yellow Cup with a $10+ purchase during Teacher Appreciation Week.
• Dunkin’ – Dunkin’ Rewards members can enjoy a $3 medium Dunkin’ Refresher every day, including during Teacher Appreciation Week. You can use the offer once a day.
• Edible Arrangements – BOGO Chocolate Dipped Fruit Cones weekdays through 6/7.
• Eyemart Express – Any school employee (including educators, nurses, custodial staff, food service, even bus drivers) at an accredited public or private school PK -12, college, or university can get a 20% discount (in store only) at Eyemart Express with proper school ID. Offer is valid year-round.
• Golden Corral – Golden Corral celebrates National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6-10, 2024, with 20% off one adult buffet purchase for teachers, acknowledging their dedication to students, families, and communities. Proof of employment required. This offer coincides with the upcoming Grads Eat Free promotion (May 6-10, 2024), aiming to encourage teacher participation and foster repeat visits.
• Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream – As a way to recognize the hard work and dedication of educators shaping our future generations, Happy Joe’s is offering a 10% discount to teachers at participating locations. Offer valid May 6 – 10, 2024.
• Hat Creek Burger Company – In honor of Teachers Appreciation Week, Hat Creek is giving free 6-piece nuggets to all teachers and school staff with a valid ID on Teacher Appreciation Day, May 7, 2024. Available at all locations.
• HTeaO – For 2 weeks in May, nurses and teachers can enjoy Happy Hour pricing (50% off) all day on cups of tea, every day. All nurses with a valid hospital, doctors office, and school nurse ID, and teachers with a valid professional school ID, are eligible for this offer.
• Huddle House – Huddle House celebrates Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6-10, 2024) by offering free meals to local teachers with valid ID. Teachers can also vote for Teacher of the Year, with winners receiving a Free Meals for a Year card. Students can vote for their favorite teacher and get a Free Kids Meal with a $6 purchase. Offer valid for dine-in at participating locations. Winners announced on May 13.
• Insomnia Cookies – Insomnia Cookies is giving teachers a free Classic Cookie in-store starting May 6 through May 12. No purchase necessary. You must show valid ID. Insomnia Cookies is also giving away a $250 catering package to five lucky teachers. All you have to do for a chance to win is fill out their SWEETstakes form by 3 a.m. PT on May 13, 2024.
• Krispy Kreme – Get 12 FREE Original Glazed Doughnuts when you sign up for the new Krispy Kreme Rewards by May 11. This offer is available to everyone, including teachers.
• McAlister’s Deli – Valid for educators from 5/6 – 5/12/24 for one Big Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea, ½ Sweet & ½ Unsweet Tea, or ½ Lemonade & ½ Sweet/Unsweet Tea (flavor shots excluded) on us in store at participating locations only. • Staples – FREE supply kit filled with goodies & enjoy 20% off purchases with your teacher ID. Plus, anyone who joins the Classroom Rewards program can earn 5% back to the school or teacher of their choice all year long, and teachers can sign up to redeem those rewards.
• Starbird Chicken – Show a valid ID and get a free entree at any Starbird location. Available through May 10.
• StitchFix – Free $50 StitchFix Credit for Teachers through June 30, 2024.
• TGI Fridays – Teachers (with valid ID) can enjoy a free meal (from a select menu) at TGI Fridays when they dine-in on May 7. While we don’t know this year’s menu yet, here’s a look at what they offered last year:

During National Teacher Appreciation Week, the brand is rewarding the hard work of all school employees across its 15-state footprint when they show their school ID from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m., May 6 – 10. Whataburger will be offering:

• Academy Sports – Between March 31 and May 11, teachers and school staff can enjoy 10% off their purchases in stores with their school ID, and online, register for the discount.
• Ann Taylor/Loft – Teachers can enjoy a 15% discount year round at Ann Taylor and Loft. This discount is valid for in-store purchases only.
• Apple – Teachers can get discounts of up to $200 on computers and accessories through the Apple Education Store.
• AT&T – AT&T is showing its support for teachers today and every day with the best price on unlimited plans.
• Canva – Teachers at eligible schools can get Canva for Education free.
• Champion – All members of the education community (including retired educators) can receive 10% off at Champion online.

• Verizon – Offers a discount of $5 to $12.50 per line to teachers. Eligibility needs to be confirmed on ID.me.
• Willow – Offers teachers that are also moms a 10% discount on a Willow Breast Pump (not valid on accessories). Verification through SheerID is required for discount.
