Rite Aid has announced that in May 2025 they will be closing all 1,240 of their locations due to a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy if they cannot find another buyer. In the upcoming months you will start to see the closures of Rite Aid stores near you.
“The company is working to facilitate a smooth transfer of customer prescriptions to other pharmacies before the closures. While the stores will eventually close, they remain open for now, and customers can still shop, fill prescriptions, and get immunizations.”
