Lowe’s Outlet Centers might be my new favorite way to shop for appliances!

Y’all- have you discovered Lowe’s Outlet Centers yet?! It is a treasure trove of appliances, patio furniture, grills, and more – all up to 80% off! Lowe’s Outlet Center is where all their scratch & dent, discontinued, or slightly used items get sent, and everything there is massively discounted!

What kind of things are sold at Lowe’s Outlet Center?

My local store in Irving, Texas was packed with mostly appliances, but they did have an assortment of grills, patio furniture, and riding mowers. They didn’t have any tools, but new inventory comes in weekly so you never know what you might find! It could be anything you’d find in a regular Lowe’s store.

Do Lowe’s Outlet Centers have any special sales?

Everything in the store is discounted 30 to 80% off daily, but they also have sales! Most outlet centers have weekly manager’s specials, holiday sales, and Black Friday specials. For example, the Bridgeton, MO, location recently offered 70% off all refrigerators and 50% off all ranges/stoves during their Memorial Day Sale! Try searching your nearest outlet location on Facebook to keep up with the latest offers.

The deals are amazing!  I got all my appliances there. I scored a nice Samsung dryer brand new for $150. Go during long weekends  -sometimes the deals are 50-80% and minor unnoticeable flaws! – TFG Reader, Eric

What’s the catch?

This is an actual scratch-and-dent warehouse. You need to check each item. They clearly label it on the tag if there is anything really wrong with it. I found that the higher the discount, the more the appliance seemed to have problems—like the 80% off stuff might be suitable for parts only. My store had a ton of appliances, and almost everything I saw was at least 50% off.

So they sell hundreds of appliances, but how do I get it home?

While Lowe’s Outlet Centers don’t offer in-home installation, they do offer delivery of your appliance. However, it does have a fee. Most centers charge $99 for delivery within 30 miles, including delivering up to 5 appliances to one address. They will deliver up to 50 miles away, but there is a small mileage fee after 30 miles. It will usually cost around $110 if you’re 50 miles away.

If you’re more of a DIY person, they also offer truck rentals for $19.99 for 90 minutes. They’ll help you load the truck as well!

Do Lowes Outlet Centers Offer Warranties? 

Yup, all appliances come with the standard 1-year manufacturer warranty, and you can also add to Lowe’s Protection Plan if you like.

Do Lowe’s Outlet Locations Allow Returns

You get a 48-hour store warranty for most items to take home, test them out, and ensure everything works great. If not, return it to the store within 48 hours, and they will exchange it for the same model or give you a full refund if they don’t have the same model.

Items eligible for return that were purchased from a Lowe’s Outlet may only be returned to the same outlet; they may not be returned to a regular Lowe’s retail store or a different outlet. Items purchased at a regular Lowe’s retail store may not be returned to a Lowe’s Outlet. You must present a valid receipt to receive a refund or in-store credit.
