What Is the Dollar General Penny List?
Dollar General penny items are discontinued products that have been reduced to $0.01 in the store system. They are generally supposed to be removed from shelves, but shoppers may occasionally find them mixed into regular aisles, seasonal sections or clearance areas.
We update this page whenever a new weekly list is released. You can also open the previous four weekly lists below. This is helpful when you have not shopped in a few weeks or want to check whether older penny items may still be hiding in your store.
Important: Do not ask store employees to locate penny items. These products are not supposed to remain on the shelves, so penny shopping is a self-guided treasure hunt.
