Anyone who purchased a Thursday ticket or 3 day tickets to the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix directly from Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc, or received a transferred ticket that was originally purchased directly from Las Vegas Grand Prix and attended Day 1 of the event by scanning their ticket before 11:59pm on November 16, 2023.
What’s This Class Action Settlement About?
The lawsuit claims that during the 2023 Las Vegas rGrand Prix, fans were removed from viewing areas before the FP2 Free practice session began after a delay from an incident during FP1. Ticket holders were denied admission without refund.
Who Qualifies for the Settlement?
Anyone who purchased a Thursday ticket, all 3 day tickets or received a transferred ticket to the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix directly from Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc and scanned their tickets before 11:59pm on November 16, 2023.
How Much Money Can You Get?
The Las Vegas Grand Prix agreed to create a $3,047,986 settlement find to provide cash payments to eligible ticket holders. payments will be calculated from the remaining settlement funds after costs and fees.
Is Proof Required?
Not necessarily, if you purchased your tickets directly from Las Vegas Grand Prix or through Ticketmaster’s primary or secondary markets, you should automatically participate in the settlement. However, if you purchased or received a ticket from another person and did not purchase it directly, you must submit a valid claim form to receive reimbursement.
